Neurodiverse Program
Parents are seeing amazing results from our proprietary and customisable program.
We pride ourselves on specialising and supporting those with neurodiverse challenges, offering custom programs that adapt both theoretical and practical piano lessons to meet most children’s needs.
Human Brain
The human brain is highly sophisticated, with brain cells constantly communicating electrically with one another to form and reform new connections, which is the source of a unique kind of healing.” by Dr. Norman Doidge, MD, “The Brain’s Way of Healing” book.
We have created a piano book, “The Treble Clef, for very young,” which helps children to reeducate and reform their thought processes by focusing on a single point, through talking, singing, and commenting about each new element.
This concept is presented in various sections of the book that reinforce and educate the thinking process ‘logically’, instead of just memorising.
“The Treble Clef, for very young” is particularly useful for children and adults, as most of the beginning piano for children’s books present too many music elements at once and often introduce two different clefs simultaneously.
Reading/Writing
This book focuses explicitly on one point in each section, such as:
- Music dyslexia, involving eye movement issues when reading music notes,
- Singing ability, including syllabic and pitch recall using the music alphabet Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si,
- Visuospatial skills to distinguish the shape of notes,
- Dyscalculia, concerning mathematical understanding of the relationships between note values, and much more.
The Suzuki Method is part of the preceding program.
