About the teacher: Esther Reinders



Esther Reinders is a registered traditional music teacher in piano, theoretical subjects, and the international Suzuki method. Esther holds music diplomas in teaching from Fraccassi Conservatorium of Music, “Conservatorio National Carlos Lopez Buchardo” and B. Mus. university degree. She is post graduate in piano performance, theory, harmony and composition as well a certified Suzuki music teacher (international).

Esther Reinders is the founder of the International College of Contemporary Music, which was founded in South Africa . She now lives and teaches music privately in north London . She also teaches at workshops in Barcelona ( Spain ) and is a piano accompanist for Suzuki Method with other instruments such as the violin. She is currently training under the former director of Suzuki Method International in England under Mrs. Caroline Gowers and presents her students in many different workshops and concerts in the UK . Mrs Caroline Gowers is one of the few English teachers who learned with Mrs. Kataoka in Japan and lectures at many workshops around the world.

Esther Reinders diversity and dedication to music stems from her love for sound, balance, structure and melody – which have become her musical mark. Her professionalism, honesty and seriousness are reflected in her achievements and contribution to the music world.

There are several published and unpublished works written by her. They include theoretical works such as “Theory of Music Grade 5, Analyses of Form in Tonal Music UNISA” and the Handbook in “Style, History of Music and Composers” as well as many piano compositions, poetry and essays.

Esther Reinders was born in Argentina , Buenos Aires . She studied music from the age of seven and accomplished a Music Teacher Diploma by time she was 15 years old. She attended and completed another music diploma at the “National Conservatorium de Musica “Carlos Lopez Buchardo” in Argentina where she studied under Madam Papuchado (piano) and attended private tuition with the conductor and composer Juan Carlos Zorzi.

Esther Reinders left Argentina and became a pupil of Dr. Enrique Barenboim, father of the pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim, while assisting the great music-pedagogue Madam Aida Barenboim.
