GRADUATION SUZUKI LEVELS – PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS ONLY
Student are required to pay a fee of £ 25.00 to participate in the Graduation Examination at any Level.
It is the responsibility of the teacher to decide at which level student enter the graduation Program.
First time student can enter the program at Level 1 or Book 1, and progress by levels (up to the graduation levels).
Students must submit a video or cd/tape of their performance of all pieces for their specific graduation level. The videotapes or tapes will be reviewed and evaluated by a master Suzuki teacher, who will then award the graduation status.
Each video/cd/tape performance will be evaluated for:
Body Balance and position (video only)
Memorization
Note accuracy
Rhythmic accuracy – no stops.
Sense of meter. Measurers of 2/4, 3 / 4 etc.
Steady and appropriate tempo.
Balance of melody and accompaniment.
Appropriate phrasing and dynamics.
The student application fee of £ 25.00 is required for:
It covers the costs for the video/cassette evaluation, printing and mailing, the certificate, telephone costs, etc.
Re-submission fee cost £15.00.
All fees are non-refundable.
Those students who are retaking the graduation evaluation will only be charged the £15.00 re-submission fee.
Cancellation or absence
Examination/graduation date is unchangeable. If a candidate is sick and cannot take part on the given date, they may apply for a re-entry permit which must be accompanied by a medical certificate dated with examination /graduation date.
The re-entry permit will issue a new appointment date upon payment of £ 15.00. If a permit is used towards entry for an examination at a
higher level, the full fee is payable. Credit will not be given under any
circumstances. Cancellation are not allowed and re-entry permits is not
permitted for non-medical reason.
