Classes are available for all levels from absolute beginners through to advanced pianists.

Reinders Music School provides and specialises in teaching adults how to play the piano using teaching methodologies specifically designed for adult learning.

Techniques are based on classical music masters, facilitating fast progress, with excellent service and high-quality tuition throughout.

In addition to the above, there may be opportunities to attend and perform at our exciting student concerts and events.

Your Piano Course

You will receive expert input from Esther on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Piano lessons are be personalized to student abilities and learning requirements.

All lessons are taught in a one-to-one setting.

Fees may vary from £ 178.00 (4 Lessons of 45 minutes)

Fees may vary depending upon the length of your lessons. All fees are due in advance for the term. A minimum study period of 3 months is required, with a month notice of cancellation.

Do I need to own a piano before starting my piano course?

No, not initially. However, you will need to obtain one in order to progress your skills and store. Pianos can be rented, and digital pianos with weighted keys can be purchased. Your teacher can advise.

Do I need to read music before starting my piano lessons?

No, you do not need any prior music experience before starting your piano lessons. Initially, the teaching is done practically at the instrument. Learning how to read music is introduced after some practical lessons. It is essential to learn the musical language when you are ready to incorporate this important activity into your diary studies.

The most important step is taking the first step. By taking action and starting your piano lessons, daily practice. you will soon be playing proficiently .

Do I need to practice?

Yes. It is necessary for you to practice on a daily basis, if you wish to make any progress. As a beginner, 15 minutes to 30 minutes is the minimum amount of time you should dedicate to personal practice on a daily basis, as attending your weekly lessons would not be enough for you to develop your piano skills.

Would you help me to complete my grade exams?

Yes, we would be delighted to help you complete your music exams, from grade 1 to grade 8, as well as Diplomas . I am qualified to develop your piano skills to beyond grade 8.

Do I need any talent to sign up?

We believe great pianists are made not born and you’re skills will soon grow. Negative myths and clichés are responsible for many adults not taking up music. We guarantee you that you will be able to play the piano, as long as you follow the instructions properly and practise at least 15-20 minutes every day.
